.Adding Items to This Menu

That’s right, the menu is automatically built from your headings when you hit Save!

.Adding Instructions

You’ve made it this far - excelsior! Now for the fun part, writing step by step instructions for your fans so they can reproduce your brilliance (at least in small part, they’ll never get to your level)!

.1. Write An Intro

Let people know what they are getting into - make them excited or better yet, show a photo or video of what they are making.

.2. Jot Down Steps

This will be your first run - brainstorm the steps so that you have a rough idea of the process and how to explain it to others.

.3. Write Steps

Write out your steps here. Make it logical but as easy to follow as possible. (But not yet, if you write over these instructions now, you won’t be able to see my last steps...just wait until you get to #6 young padawan. Patience!)

.4. Add Images

What’s more interesting that boring words? Images! What’s more fun than images? Video! What’s more interesting that video? Videos that include light sabres...oy!

.5. Review

Yes, you think that you wrote out all the steps so even a total noob could follow along BUT has a real noob actually tried following your instructions? Ya, didn’t think so.

.6. Publish

You’ve got this down, you’re a real pro now. Perhaps you should become a technical writer...you seem to have a real knack for it. Thanks for using SWYM!
